Two Scientists from Theodor Bilharz Research Institute Ranked Among the World’s Most Influential Scientists According to Stanford 2025 Classification

As part of the comprehensive development plan underway at Theodor Bilharz Research Institute, and within a series of successive achievements aimed at improving infrastructure and enhancing the quality of healthcare services, the institute’s administration continues to implement its ambitious projects on the ground. In this context, Professor Dr. Ahmed Abdel Aziz, Director of the Institute and Chairman of the Board, inaugurated the Economic Accommodation and Organ Transplantation Wards after the completion of extensive renovations and upgrades. The works were carried out under his patronage and supervised by the Development Committee headed by Professor Dr. Ahmed Azzam. This step reflects the administration’s commitment to hands-on follow-up of the development plan and to raising the standard of medical services provided to patients. The renovations included the reopening of 11 fully equipped rooms, designed to offer patients premium hotel-style accommodation.

As part of its ongoing efforts to develop the healthcare system and raise the level of services provided, Professor Dr. Ahmed Abdel Aziz, Director of the Institute and Chairman of the Board of Directors, announced the signing of a cooperation agreement with Asius Company, specialized in preparing healthcare institutions for accreditation. Under the patronage of Prof. Ahmed Abdel Aziz, Director of Theodor Bilharz Research Institute and Chairman of the Board of Directors, the summer training courses presented by the Institute's Training and Research Consultancy Unit to university students concluded. The Institute received 25 students from the faculties of medicine at Cairo University, Ain Shams University, Badr University, Badiya University, and New Giza University for summer training during the months of July and August. The training lasted for two weeks for each course, starting from July 13 until September 3, 2025.
