Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Ahmed Abdel Aziz, Director of Theodor Bilharz Research Institute and Chairman of the Board, the Institute's Community Service and Environmental Development Committee, in cooperation with the Institute's International Ranking and Research Performance Evaluation Committee, presents a symbosium entitled "Sustainable Development Goals and Scientific Ranking: Towards an Integrated Vision of Institutional Excellence." The lecture will cover several topics, including:

- An introduction to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and their importance.

- The relationship between scientific research and international rankings of scientific institutions.

- The role of academic institutions in achieving sustainable development.

- Strategies for improving the scientific ranking of institutions.

- The integration of academic quality and institutional excellence.

The lecture will be delivered by Dr. Hassan Flefel, Researcher in the Environmental Research Department at Theodor Bilharz Research Institute, and Mr. Yasser Abdel Fattah Salem, Director General of Administrative Affairs at the Petroleum Research Institute.

 This will take place on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, at 10:00 AM in Hall B.
