Honoring the team of the Media Office of Theodor Bilharz Institute in recognition of their outstanding media efforts
On the sidelines of the 13th Scientific Meeting on Gastroenterology and Hepatology, Prof. Ahmed Abdel Aziz, Director of Theodor Bilharz Research Institute, honored the team of the Media Office of the Institute, in recognition of their outstanding contributions to presenting an honorable media image of the Institute's activities through various media.
The recognition included Ms. Mai Mohammed Reda and Mr. Ahmed Magdy, in recognition of their effective role in providing integrated media services, including the production of professional videos documenting the Institute's activities, artistic designs and media propaganda, and the preparation and dissemination of news and reports through various media, digital platforms and social media,which contributed to showing the Institute distinctive image worthy of its position as a leading research institution.
Prof. Ahmed Abdel Aziz expressed his happiness with the remarkable activity witnessed by the Media Office during the recent period, praising the effective efforts of the team in comprehensive news coverage, continuous media coordination with various parties, and cooperation with the Media Office of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, in order to ensure reaching the largest possible segment of the public and achieving real and continuous communication.
In the same context, the Media Office has implemented a set of digital awareness initiatives through the official accounts of the Institute on various social media sites, which have met with remarkable success and have received clear interaction from followers. The Ministry's Media Office has also published them through its media platforms. It started with the "Fast and be healthy" initiative during Ramadan, then " El eed seha " initiative to provide advice and guidance to citizens on such occasions. As well as the "Sehetak Bel Donia" initiative, which is a series of short videos provided by the Institute's specialized professors to spread health awareness in a simplified manner. Finally," Science for All" initiative, which was aimed at creating a link between the academic community and the non-specialized citizen, by presenting published scientific research in an easy and simple manner with an explanatory video that presents the content of the research in an interesting and attractive manner.
For their part, the members of the media office team expressed their deep thanks to the Director of the Institute for this honor, stressing that this kind gesture will motivate them to exert more effort in order to present the Institute's activities and various events in a way that befits its position as one of the most prestigious research institutions in Egypt. They also expressed their sincere gratitude to all colleagues from inside and outside the institute who cooperate with them for this noble goal, especially Dr. Marwa Tamim, head of the technical office, and Dr. Shaimaa Attia, deputy head of the technical office, for their prominent role and fruitful cooperation with the media office in supporting its efforts and enhancing its mission.
