The unit was inaugurated due to the importance of clinical nutrition in maintaining human health and improving patient conditions in line with the governmental commitment to establishing clinical nutrition units in hospitals across the country, the TBRI Clinical Nutrition unit is the first of its kind among research centers in Egypt. The unit is staffed by a distinguished team of clinical nutrition experts, led by Professor Iman Ahmed Sultan, Professor of Endocrinology and Clinical Nutrition and Director of the Training Unit at the National Nutrition Institute; Dr. Marwa Abdel Ghany Mohamed, Deputy Supervisor of the Unit and Assistant lecturer of Public Health at TBRI; and Dr. Wafaa Abdel Mageed, Consultant and lecturer of Public Health at TBRI. The team also includes clinical nutrition physicians, pharmacists, dietitians, and nursing staff to ensure the highest standard of patient care.
