Research Fields
My researches focuses on testing different biological methods for reducing the pollution level in freshwater systems. Isolation and identification of fungal species from water, sediment and soil samples. Studying freshwater-derived fungi as bioremediators tools for many pollutants. Investigating filamentous fungi as sources of bioactive compounds. Proficiency in experimental design (for laboratory and field study), physiological analysis. Water quality analysis (biotic and abiotic factors). Studying the role of the freshwater snails as bioindicators for environmental toxicity, detection and identification of infective stages of new parasitic worms.
