Research Fields

 My researches focuses on testing different biological methods for reducing the pollution level in freshwater systems.  Isolation and identification of fungal species from water, sediment and soil samples.  Studying freshwater-derived fungi as bioremediators tools for many pollutants.  Investigating filamentous fungi as sources of bioactive compounds.  Proficiency in experimental design (for laboratory and field study), physiological analysis.  Water quality analysis (biotic and abiotic factors).  Studying the role of the freshwater snails as bioindicators for environmental toxicity, detection and identification of infective stages of new parasitic worms.
