Shimaa Attia Atta: Shimaa Atta “Associate Professor of Immunology, Theodor Bilharz Research Institute” was graduated in Faculty of Medicine, Cairo University (M.D.). She works in Immunology and Drug Evaluation Dept., from 2007 up till now. Her postgraduate studies were in Immunology (master) in collaboration with the Medical Research Center, Polish Academy of Science, Poland and (M.D) from Faculty of Medicine Cairo University. She has been carrying out research work on in stem cell and regenerative medicine field for 12 years. She has been involved in research topics on: monoclonal antibody production, stem cell isolation and therapeutic potentials, hepatocyte transplantation, natural products of medical importance and therapeutic and diagnostic applications of nanotechnology. She has shared and worked in more than 14 research projects sponsored by international and national agencies, and supervised more than 7 theses.
