• Phytochemical investigation of medicinal and food plants focused on determining their chemical constituents. • Extraction, isolation, and purification of natural bioactive compounds such as essential oils, terpenoids, saponins, flavonoids, and other phenolic and aromatic compounds. • Estimation of the phenolic and flavonoids content in medicinal plants then studying the correlation between this content and their antioxidant activity. • Measuring the UV spectra of isolated phenolic compounds in methanol as well as with other diagnostic shift reagents. • Chromatographic isolation and spectroscopic analysis of secondary metabolites using different techniques such as Anal. /Prep. HPLC-DAD/ELSD, High-resolution Orbitrap LC-MS/MS and GC-MS as well as paper Chromatography (PC), column chromatography (CC) and High-Performance Thin Layer Chromatography (HPTLC). • Structure elucidation of natural products by modern spectroscopic techniques including UV-Vis, IR, MS, HRMS, 1D, 2D NMR experimen
