Biography
Tamer Samy Mohamed Mahmoud Researcher in the Department of Therapeutic Chemistry, specializing in Biochemical and Molecular Biology as well as Therapeutic Chemistry, at Theodor Bilharz Research Institute. Graduated from the Faculty of Science, Cairo University, and obtained a PhD in Organic Chemistry - Natural Products Chemistry. I work in the field of extraction, isolation, and characterization of chemical compounds isolated from medicinal plants, and the biological evaluation of their activities as anticancer, antioxidant, antimicrobial, and antiviral agents including isolation, purification and structural elucidation of different classes of natural products which isolated from medicinal plant.
