
Biography
Maha Badr is a researcher in pharmacology Dept. in March 2021. She was promoted to assistant researcher in December 2016 and bachelor of Pharmaceutical Science, Faculty of Pharmacy, Cairo University, May (2008). Grade: Excellent with honors. During her scientific career over 12 years in the pharmacology Dept., her research interests include; hepatocytes and hepatic stellate cells isolation, NAFLD/NASH, ulcerative colitis, and hepatic anti-fibrotic drugs, gut microbiota modulating drugs, and anti-diabetic drugs. She took part in an international project funded by the FP7 programme, as well as 5 internal projects funded by the TBRI, one as a PI and four as a member. She published four peer-reviewed scientific articles in international scientific journals.
