The two parties agreed on the following possibilities:

• Training of female students in the specified fields according to the institute’s specializations in all departments, with the following categories:

• Female students of the Faculty of Science, Al-Azhar University – Girls Branch
• Graduates of the Faculty of Science, Al-Azhar University – Girls Branch
• Faculty members and their assistants in the departments of the Faculty of Science, Al-Azhar University – Girls Branch

Each party shall appoint a general supervisor for the training process at the beginning of the training period, one from each side.

• Participation in specialized applied research projects.
• Cooperation in preparing and teaching training programs, as well as exchange of visits and organization of seminars / conferences / workshops in various scientific and research fields of mutual interest.

Duties of the Two Parties

1. Theodore Bilharz Research Institute shall receive students from various departments at the institute in groups, each according to their specialization, provided that the number of students in each group is no less than 10. TBRI shall commit to training the students nominated by the second party in any of the departments affiliated with Theodore Bilharz Research Institute according to the agreed training program.
2. Theodore Bilharz Institute shall provide the lecturers, training materials, venue for trainees, scientific equipment to be used in the training, and the cases to be studied in the practical part, as well as issuing officially stamped training certificates.
3. The Faculty of Science, Al-Azhar University – Girls Branch shall provide the list of students at the beginning of the training course.
4. The Faculty of Science shall participate in preparing the scientific material for the training and research programs as needed.

Duration of the Protocol:

     It is valid for 3 years, renewable.
