
Catering Dept.
The Nutrition Department provides meals to patients and hospital staff. The department strives to:
• Implement department policies and procedures in accordance with international food safety standards (GAHAR)
• Ensure the highest quality of food services for patients and hospital staff
• Assist with treatment by providing nutritionally appropriate meals for all medical conditions and providing nutritional guidance to patients before leaving the hospital
The kitchen is equipped with the best stainless steel equipment. The kitchen layout adheres to international food safety standards, with separate preparation rooms to avoid cross-contamination: a vegetable preparation room, a meat preparation room, a dessert preparation room, and a tray preparation room, in addition to separate cooling rooms: a meat cooling room, a fruit cooling room, a vegetable cooling room, and an egg cooling room. A laundry room, a tray preparation room, a trolley storage room, a machinery room, an inspection and receiving room, a storage room, a catering supplies storage room, a cooking department, a waste room, a restaurant department, and a handling room
The Nutrition Department consists of:
1. A department responsible for providing nutritional services to patients using chefs and assistants with certifications and experience in the field of food.
2. A department responsible for the patient's nutritional status using highly qualified and experienced nutritionists.
